Disadvantages:  Some reports of high price decreases have been found online, once people send them their item.

In summary, all these solutions for selling your iPhone, are legitimate, and work.  It just depends on the amount of time that you want to spend selling your item.  If you must get the highest price, it is best if you sell your item on eBay,.  However eBay can sometimes be risk, and you have to wait a long time sometimes for all the funds to clear in your PayPal account.  This makes the eBay option a little long, and tedious.  We liked DeviceFlip, CashitGadget, and Craigslist the best.  The nice thing about craigslist, is you can let it sit for as long as you want, and see what you get.  You have to deal with a lot of spammy eMail sometimes with craigslist, but you can get your item sold really fast on craigslist sometimes if you are willing to take a lower price.  DeviceFlip has a professional look, and gave the best price out of all of the options.  They also have some good reviews about their company.  It is also a lot faster, and you get FREE shipping, and overall was the best.  CashitGadget, also was a good solution, they gave a reasonable price, had great reviews, and has been around for over 2 years.  There website was a little confusing at times, but they also had good feedback, and a good image.

Whichever company you choose to use is your decision, but as you can see here its not that hard to get some cash from your old iPhone.  It is also a good idea to sell your old iPhones as soon as you can, because the value of them will drop a lot over time.  For example, if you have a iPhone 4S, now, it is worth around $300+, but if you wait for a year before you sell your iPhone 4S, it will drop its value to $200 +/-, this is not good, because you loose money.  Choose to get the best price, and sell before the value drops because of the new one coming out!
