Reading Rainbow App

Reading Rainbow app has been re-invented and updated and ready for your children’s iPad.  Reading Rainbow started out as a tv series 30 years ago with the goal to teach young children the joys of reading.  This time proven concept has now been revamped as an iTunes app.  So many of us know the joys of reading and the struggles to get the young to appreciate the written word, over a SpongeBob cartoon.  Kids can now read hundreds of quality books with their Reading Rainbow app and not even realize that they are learning and growing into the next generation of well rounded educated hi-tech kids!

User Feedback for Reading Rainbow app:

For a 1.0 release, this app is extremely polished, and even has a good deal of free content. It’s definitely geared toward younger kids, so ages 3-9 is accurate, but there’s an interesting mix of books. The interface is fairly intuitive, fun/easy to use & is responsive on an iPad2. Only comment is that 1-finger swipe doesn’t work, and 2-finger swiping is iffy – use the buttons instead.

Looks like a great app but I cannot figure out how to setup separate profiles. I have 2 kids 5 and 8 years old. The current books for my 5 year old are great but I cannot seem to view more advance books form my older kid. As a result 3 stars add more than One profile and I will give 5 stars. The subscription seem reasonable but I will not pay for just one child.

Hope this helps and let us know what you think about Reading Rainbow App.
