Portal 2 Walkthrough the Cold Boot Floor 4. This part of the challenge lets you encounter a river and more lasers. First, find the laser where it’s pointing, located in the center of wall, just left of the entrance. Now fire an orange portal to the left, and the blue portal at the wall in the far corner. Go through the platform. Fire your portal gun at the left edge of the room, where the top laser touches the wall and the receiver near you. Use the cube to redirect the laser to the receiver on the wall with the portals. Place the cube on the button and walk through the elevator.

Next, Portal 2 Walkthrough the Cold Boot proceeds to the Floor 5. The Portal 2 walkthrough reminds you to introduce the others to watch pads. Find the launch pad, to wind up on the other end. Press the switch to release a cube in the middle of the room. Shoot your portal gun on the top, and then use the jump platforms to catch the cube suspended in mid-air. But there are many ways to do this, though, as long as you’re able to grab the cube in the center of the room. Put the caught cube on the red button and go through the elevator.
Portal 2 Walkthrough the Cold Boot now goes to Floor 6. Your first job is to move straight down to the far wall on the left on the hall. Now place two portals, the blue and orange portal on the two white pads you see. Remember to get one shot before you land on it. Take some jump portals, until you land near the exit. You’ll see a switch. Fire an orange portal at the ceiling above before you press the switch. Grab it before it fails. Hit another portal near the right wall and one above the switch pad. Drop the cube on the cube to send it away. This will open yet another elevator for you to enter.
