Minecraft skins are the texture that is placed onto a player model. Minecraft skins are divided into areas that act as the surface area of the character. The player model’s skin will only allow solid color except the second hand area, which is transparent by default. The second head layer can be used to give the character’s accessories like glasses, hats or even a bigger head. Changing the character’s skin is easy. A player can change their character’s skin if they have purchased Minecraft. Uploading a valid .png image file, will the replace the default skin. The character .png file in minecraft .jar can be changed and replaced.

Minecraft Skins are currently having eight default skin types. All skin types will appear to have the same face but wearing different outfits and skin color. Minecraft skins are available in “change skin” area of Help and Options. Default skin types are Tennis Steve, a tennis player with blonde hair and a sweatband. For formal occasions, Tuxedo Steve in a fancy-looking tuxedo will appear. An athlete Steve will appear as a darker version with a sleeveless shirt, a gold necklace and pants. The version of Prisoner Steve is in bright-colored orange clothing while the Cyclist Steve is wearing shorts, a jacket and shoes. The Boxer Steve is in belt with shorts, no shirt and fancy boots with gloves. Scottish Steve is in a kilt with fancy hair and clothing. Ordinary Steve will appear as the original look of Steve. After releasing xbox 360 edition, 4J Studios released two-ski pack as downloadable context. Last July 16, 2012, Skin Pack 1 was released and it has 45 different skis to choose from. After 2 days, 4J released Summer of Arcade Promotional Skin Pack that has 15 different skis to be chosen.
Minecraft skins can be enhanced by using capes. Capes which previously named as cloaks are vanity items ad considered as additional part of the players’ skin. Examples of capes are Mojang Cape, Christmas Cape 2010, New Year’s Cape, One Million Cape and Crowding Translator ape. The Minecraft Skins are originally had a beard but commonly mistake for a smile but it was removed telling that he got a shave. Minecraft Skins give satisfaction to the player to see their character changes outfits. One may think that skins are nothing and not important but actually, it is the one who gives a life to a player’s model. Minecraft Skins are the first part to see that needs attention for it represent the man who is playing behind it. Minecraft skins are an integral part to complete the player model to be fashionable and sociable in a computer world.
